| I have a situation where I would like to use SQL Server Express Edition (on a Windows 2000 SP4 OS) as a back end db and MS Access front-end. I have about 15 db users with MS Access 2003 front-ends on their PCs. The front-ends link to about 6 back-end tables.I have a couple questions:1. The MS site says Windows 2000 SP 4, supports 10 concurrent connections. Does this mean that if 11 or more users simultaneously query database tables, some will not get connected?2. What is meant by a "connection" in this context?3. If the tables are linked in the front-end, and the front end is open, does this constitute a connection?Thanks, |
