| Hello.I have a scenario whereby I need to transfer backups from a prod server to a backup server I have designated in another domain/region. Looking at the alternatives, log shipping or a variation thereof is what I will be setting up. Without the named share, what is the best scenario for accomplishing this task? ftp, I presume? I have Red Gate backup 5 available, if that can be used with ftp for the xfr. I'm not married to it. I'd also like to encrypt the backups, ideally.Thanks kindly in advance for any opinions.Nic |
