I am having issues with SQL Server installation. I recently install sql server through microsofts web site via their web platform application. After downloading and setting up SQL Server, I could not open the congfiguration manager to change my TCP/IP permissions. I kept getting a windows WMI error. I tried the mofcomp command in the command prompt, but that didn't work.I have now tried to remove sql server and perform a completely new reinstall, but I can't get everything uninstalled. The current installation is not showing up in my Add/Remove programs control panel in windows. I can't uninstall the application through the windows plaform program either. It tells me SQL Server is installed, but doesn't give an option to uninstall. How do I completely remove all sql server components and the sql server application. I need it working so I can use the configuration manager to enable the setup of coldfusion dsn for my application. Thank you in advance. |
