Execute Maintenance Plan

- Execute maintenance plan. CRN Backup (Error)
Messages
Execution failed. See the maintenance plan and SQL Server Agent job history logs for details.

------------------------------
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Specified cast is not valid. (Microsoft.SqlServer.SqlEnum)

When I run any maintenance plan on a certain database in SQL Server 2005 this error is thrown right away. This started happening after I deleted some of the maintenance plans following instructions I found posted on this website(for deleting plans manually, thread here http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=98114&whichpage=1).

The plans deleted fine, but now any new plan that is run throws the error above. What's weird is that if I run the jobs directly they work just fine, the maintenance plans just don't work.
