Hello,I own a small mmorpg game with ~150 active users during daytime and ~70 active users during night time. Our dedicated server specs are:Intel® Core i7 920 2.66GHz 8MB Cache4 GB DDR3 RAM2 x 750 GB SATA2 HDD 1Gbit ConnectionHowever, sqlservr.exe is taking more than 1.300.000 memory usage. Is it a good or bad thing? If it is a bad thing, how can I minimise it? I am having lag issues sometimes and I think it may cause it.When a friend of me checked my database last time, he was like; "Oh, there are indexing everywhere, it may cause lag." However I am not able to contact him anymore so it will be also good if you explain how can I check "indexing" issues in my database. For additional information, my database is 100mb, with ~50 tables and between 6 to 40 coloumns in these tables.Thank you. |
