Hello,I am a database engineer and I am quite familiar with TSQL and using SSMS, but have not used Analysis Server before. I am being asked some general questions and not sure where to turn.In short I am building some Stored Procedures referencing databases with success. Part of the data we need to access is stored in Analysis services. (I'm not even sure if that makes sense because I don't know what analysis services are!) The question asked to me was this:Can you log in locally, set up a job that moves the data you need from the Analysis Services DB to a regular SQL Server DB for connection for the procedures? Is that true? When we try to login to Analysis servers to look at what is there the credential is greyed out. It is with all professional experience that I say...WTF?Thanks for your answer!Craig Greenwood |
