Author  Topic  harrymc Starting Member 1 Post Posted - 2010-11-12 : 15:22:22 hi, im fairly new to all the - but i have just installed SQL Server 2008, specifically but not entirely for the analysis services module. the installation seemed to go ok, but when i start SQL server management studio i got the below exception: the type initializer for 'microsoft.sqlserver.management.dmf.policystore' threw an exception - however, everything stilled seemed to work normally. my main problem is that when i try to load the analysis services module i get the below message and the program wont start at all: the type initializer microsoft.analysisservices.deployment.sharedbitmaps' threw an exception Additional information - parameter is not valid (system.drawing) Does anyone know how to get around this - any help will be much appreciated. thanks
