The server is either not started or too busy Problem: From a Client Machine over Excel, I tried to connect the server where the cubes are an this error appears “Cannot connect to the server ‘XXXXXXX’. The server is either not started or too busy” Version: Analisys Services 2000 Sp4 The Analisys services is installed on XP, version 2002, service pack 2 Situation: If I do the same from the server the connection works perfect, but I can’t reach the server from any other machine. The machine (xp where the Analisys Server is installed) is reachable by ping The firewall is switched off in both server and client The ports TCP 2393, 2394 2725, TCP 80 are already opened in server I do have the same installation in other company and Analysis Server over XP works fine, I don't know why not here. Does anyone can give a clue? Thanks in advance Ariel
