Any of you seasoned s out there got any experience with a database system called Flash Filer? I have a prospective client (of whom I am a client...how's that for an endless loop?) that has built their application on it. They want to add a feature to their application and I happen to have specialized lately in the area they are going into. So while I'm in talks with them I thought I'd do some research on their technology. I've done a brief Google search and thought I'd come here to see if any of y'all have used it or heard any good stories.-----------------------------------------------------Words of Wisdom from AjarnMark, owner of Infoneering |

Is it criminal records of well-known flashers???? Probably not...thoght I'd give it the good old stab in the dark though. MeanOldDBAderrickleggett@hotmail.comWhen life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA. |

i used a cost recovery system call Infortext that uses a flash filer back end, but it was pretty awful. I think it used an older version, though. I was able to track down an ODBC driver for it, but it only worked with the newer version so I could never make use of it, or see if it was any good.- Jeff |
