Is there any tools out there to write asp.net and vb.net code for me.
I am a little overwhelmed how much there is to know in these tools and I have been rushed into a project alone :(.

Should I code it all myself or is there a good tool I can purchase that may do it for me ? Or at least some of it ?

Thanks,
Jon

I don't use any of the wizards in VS.NET, but use CodeSmith templates to do all the boring stuff like stored proc parameters.

Hi Jon

Microsoft have a couple of samples which I found were good starting blocks. The samples from www.asp.net are simple examples. Have a look this http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnbda/html/bdasamppet.asp for something a little bigger.

Agree about CodeSmith, its great for doing lots of repetitive tasks but it wont build stuff from the ground up without some direction from yourself.

OxyGen Code spam removed. These guys have been spamming the forums for a while now. I've already locked three accounts. Just avoid them.

It was spam. I removed the post but left the company name in. Hopefully anyone searching for their name will find this first. :)
