Is there any tools out there to write asp.net and vb.net code for me.I am a little overwhelmed how much there is to know in these tools and I have been rushed into a project alone :(.Should I code it all myself or is there a good tool I can purchase that may do it for me ? Or at least some of it ?Thanks,JonPS: Working with VB.net SQL Server 2k and ASP.netJonwww.web-impulse.comCan you dig it: http://www.thecenturoncompany.com/jhermiz/blog/ |

I don't use any of the wizards in VS.NET, but use CodeSmith templates to do all the boring stuff like stored proc parameters.Damian |

Hi JonMicrosoft have a couple of samples which I found were good starting blocks. The samples from www.asp.net are simple examples. Have a look this http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnbda/html/bdasamppet.asp for something a little bigger.Agree about CodeSmith, its great for doing lots of repetitive tasks but it wont build stuff from the ground up without some direction from yourself.Sam |

OxyGen Code spam removed. These guys have been spamming the forums for a while now. I've already locked three accounts. Just avoid them. |

It was spam. I removed the post but left the company name in. Hopefully anyone searching for their name will find this first. :)=================================================Creating tomorrow's legacy systems today. One crisis at a time. |
