with all the hurricanes you're getting there, someone would think there's a weather weapon invented somewhere....

Maybe the cans are defective.

Hey all,
I made it through Ivan. I still don't have power, but my house and everything is fine. I evacuated north to Birmingham to ride out the storm. It wasn't too bad up there, but the 4 hour trip took 7 hours!!!! Stop and go traffic for hours and hours.
Without power, the heat is really getting tiresome. I know all of the power guys are working hard to get everything fixed. I've got is great compared to some of the folks east of here. Baldwin County Alabama and the Pensacola, FL area were hit HARD. In many places, there's nothing left.

Corey,
Very true! We were very lucky that the Eye moved east of here. I feel bad for the folks east of here. Once I get back up and running here, I plan to send some help their way. If anyone wants to help, please make some donations to the Red Cross. At this point, anything would be much appreciated.
