Look like Tara is now a few shots ahead of Rob...

When did that happen?

Congrats Tara!

I thought you were going to PASS This year?

Maybe next year in Texas?

Hopefully our budget "crisis" will be over by then....

Thanks everyone.

It was certainly less than 1k. I think we were 1/4 of the way up on the first page when we hit 1k.

As for PASS, we were pushing it but they never got around to approving it. They kept saying that there would be something similar on this coast that I could attend. I don't know of anything around here like PASS. Anyway, times have changed and I'm now part of a different group at my company so maybe next year will happen.

CONGRATULATIONS TARA !!!!

You missed a GREAT time at PASS. Hope you can make it to Texas in 2005.

Next time, I'd ask them exactly what upcoming SQL conference they have in mind. One of the folks I talked to at the PASS Summit said they had gone to SQL Live and that PASS was much better. Didn't get any details from them, just a comment made in passing. But you know where all the cool people will be...

lol@rob

Tara, the only other conference I know about this year is SQL Connections.

http://www.sqlconnections.com/devconnections/sql/?refer=

It does look like it will be a good conference though.

Yeah...he might promote her....do you realize how much you save by not wasting the companies money by attending week long cure for insomniac training sessions?

I also have another question...

what happens at SQLTeam when you register with an email, then it becomes no longer valid? Like you changed or dropped it?

Are you still entitled to your SQLTeam Login?

Congrats Tara!

I'm not sure I can even remember a time when Rob wasn't at the top of the list. He passed me years ago! The funny thing is I met him in person for the first time at PASS. It's odd to know someone for years through chats but have never met them. What a strange world we live in. It seems like a throw back to the age of letters.

And let me add my voice to the chorus singing the praises of PASS. It's a great event. I'm hoping to meet even more people in Texas next year. Three days is just too short.

I find that helping other people solve problems really helps my own skills. One of the best ways to really understand something is to have to explain it to someone else.

Re: email change. You can change your email for an account. I know it sends a message to one of the accounts to confirm but I don't recall which email account. I've never changed my email address on this site.

I hate when people make assumptions. What do they say about assuming things?...
