Has anyone use asp.net website within Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition? It seems that when I run asp.net web pages, it gives me a HTTP 404 - File not found error. It works fine with html, but not with my asp.net pages. I even tried a simple hello page and it still doesn't work. The aspx.net web site works fine on my Windows XP developer machine. Any suggestions? |

Yes, on Win2k3 ASP and ASP.net are disabled by default. I can't remember where you turn them back on, but I think it's under admin tools someplace.Do some googling for "enable asp.net windows 2003"Michael<Yoda>Use the Search page you must. Find the answer you will.</Yoda> |

A lot of google search says that it has to do with the web extension in IIS wher eyou can go and enable that for the asp.net. However mine is already enabled. I also have Sharepoint portal running fromt the same machine so that might have something to do with it. I will probably run this application from another server since it's giving me too much headaches. |
