Just occured to me how history would have been different if SQLTeam was around 400 years ago..

Maybe we would have;
"INSERT INTO your_houses(curse) VALUES(both)"

or

"INSERT INTO discontent(winter) VALUES(getdate())"

...any other ideas.

Julies Caeser would have fought for Sqlteam not for Cleopatra

Some Quotes of Shakespeare
For Myself i borrow everyday from Sqlteam....but still needs more
quote:

I can get no remedy against this consumption of the purse: borrowing only lingers and lingers it out, but the disease is incurable.

Rob would have written a Article on
quote:

To be or not to be that is the question. Whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the stings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or take up arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing them, end them.

What's in a name? A nr by any other name would hate cursors as Water(he looks obsessed with beer)
quote:

What's in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet

For Merkin
quote:

Death makes no conquest of this conqueror: For now he lives in fame, though not in life(i would replace this with Sane life).

for Sqlteam
quote:

To me, fair friend, you never can be old. For as you were when first your eye I eyed. Such seems your beauty still.

Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale her infinite variety. Other women cloy the appetites they feed, but she makes hungry where most she satisfies.

Price of being a Yak
quote:

The price of greatness is responsibility.

Edgar Allen Poe has been a huge SQL Team inspiration in the past:

http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7115

Shakespeare and a few cohorts (!) made an appearance in an article of mine too:

http://www.sqlteam.com/item.asp?ItemID=2652

And don't go criticizing our various love affairs with beer!

"...and drink, sir, is a great provoker of three things....Marry, sir,
nose-painting, sleep, and urine. Lechery, sir, it provokes, and unprovokes;
it provokes the desire, but it takes away the performance: therefore, much drink may be
said to be an equivocator with lechery: it makes him, and it mars him; it sets him on,
and it takes him off; it persuades him, and disheartens him; makes him stand to,
and not stand to; in conclusion, equivocates him in a sleep, and, giving him the lie,
leaves him."

Never thought that a Shakespeare quote could ever apply to a SQL programmer SOOOOOOOO closely!

BTW Nazim, F--- Hamlet! Instead of carrying on like that, he should've just gone on the Jerry Springer show! What a wimp!

How many rows must a man update
Before you can call him a man?
Yes 'n how many steps must a procedure make
Before it can sleep in the sand?
Yes 'n how many times can a cursor fly by
Before they're forever banned?

Alas, poor Cursor! I knew him Jackstow -- a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.
