Is it hard to submit only 98.9% of a post? Do you leave out punctuation?

Hmm... Let's see... On an average day you help more than 10 people solve their problems at no charge... And that's on top of the stuff you do at work. I think that's something to be proud of!
Well done Jay!

Well not exactly 10 people a day seeing as you have to wrestle the true question out of half the people who post. Most of them think you will just "know" what they want by osmosis or something. Put your head to the computer and absorb.

From the wonderful and insightful posts you share on SQL Team, I was wondering if you could share your osmosis secret, as you seem to have it down pretty good. I've tried, but seem to be getting something wrong in the process, my head hurts and people are beginning to ask about the permanent red mark. What am I doing wrong Jay????

Congrats on 1000.

Jeremy

Just noticed this - would be kinda interesting to note the "average posts per day" and "average posts per work day" numbers. I note that, for example, ROBVOLK with 5149 over roughly 680 days, averages at 7.5 post per day, over almost 2 years !!! WOW Rob, that's D#$m impressive. I wonder how the rates would look . I note people like setbased, page47 etc are extremely frequent (doing quick mental calcs).

I wonder what the top 10 looks like. Feel like pulling a stat out on this one Graz ??

ciao

(( If there was an "average questions asked per day", I think I might be leading on that stat - *grin* ))

What would be more interesting is graphs of posting rates.
Then we could see when people are having to do some real work.
