Right I have little bit a question that no matter how much googling is done there is no clear answer, here is the situation We currently have a SQL Server 2005 Enterprise edition on say SERVER_A, and are looking at starting a new windows server and installing just SSIS on that server along with SQL Server Express edition to run the packagesNow on the other forums it appears to be unclear as to wether because we are installing SSIS Component do we need a full extra SQL Server licence or can we use an express edition for the SQL agent to run the packages bearing in mind that at the instances that will be used on the SSIS packages will be licencedCan anyone clarify? **************************Check Check and double check it's the safest way |
