I just installed the SQL Server 2008 on new server.I enabled the RemoteDacEnabled=True on SQL Server >Facet> Surface Area ConfigurationBut, i can not remote connect on this sql server. I put right server name, user name, and password.I tried to connect this server from another SQL Machine using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio |

What error did you get?Can you ping the server from your client machine?Can you connect to the SQL Server locally? |

To connect remotely you dont need to enable remote dac1. enable remote access under facets2. set the port number and enable tcp/ip3. check your firewall 4. restart the services |
