| Win95/98 probably won't work, but Windows NT 4.0 or 2000 should work fine. |

| I believe it does, you'd use CDONTS COM objects via the sp_OA stored procedures in SQL Server 6.5. There are some articles here on SQL Team that use CDONTS and/or CDOSYS, they are functionally similar and should work with any version of SQL Server. |
