Hello all, I have a quick question. I just sucessfully installed SQL Server 2008 Developers Edition on my home Desktop Vista Small Business machine.
I did a full installation, all components(db engine, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Visual Studio, documentation, etc)... Reporting Services failed for some reason.
Anyway, with SS 2005, in SSMS, I could connect to an instance of SSAS and SSIS, in addition to the database engine. I brought up SSMS and connected to the database engine instance, but the connect button does not show SSAS or SSIS as options.
I have not done any reading/studying on SS 2008, but wondering if there is a change from 2005 to 2008.
Thanks for reading.
