| I am wanting to create a linked server to a db2 database running on a mainframe. I found a link out here suggesting that you could do that using db2 connect. I know nothing about db2 connect and not much about linked servers, so bear with me. I have a server that is supposed to have db2 connect installed on it, but I don't see anything that looks like db2 in the provider list. I would think I would need that to create a linked server, but maybe I'm going about this the wrong way. Any guidance would be appreciated. |
