hi there,

what would you say is the best approach to create a budget year table, that varies from customer to customer
I am thinking
Table : BudgetYear
	[budget_year_definitionID] [int] IDENTITY(1,1) NOT NULL,
[budget_year_name] nvarchar(50) NOT NULL,
[budget_year_from_month] int NOT NULL,
[budget_year_to_month] int NOT NULL

but somehow I feel this is too simplistic, or maybe simple is best approach?

THanks

isnt it enough to have a generic calendar table and then store various schemes in another table having start and end months and then another one to link customer with schemes

Visakh16, thanks for response. I have a calendar table, which is a very new concept to the place I am working at and I am meeting stiff resistance. it is a place where they do not use primary keys and foreign keys, to give u an idea of the environment. Anyways got to move on. Your approach is perfect!
