Dear All,

In Case of disaster recovery..,Have to move all the DB from one server to another server. Here im not using Replication and clustering..Manually i have to move..

Workaround done by me is as follows.

1) I have taken scripts for " User, Roles, Logins, Permissions, Jobs and DTS Packages “ Manually.
2) DB FullBackup and Log backups..

Hence please assist me in further refineing the steps..Also pls let me know if i have missed out any steps.

Thanks & Regards
Ravi

I would just restore the databases onto a cold system that has been setup with the exact same paths.

it can be restored by some 3rd party applications. after this, the same sql server problem recovery utility uploads the data to another server. it is here: http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/adding_a_secondary_file_to_a_database_sql_server.html. hope it helps

Referring to 3rd party websites without first establishing your credentials through prolonged membership and contributions to this the website or backing up your arguement for using such a website are classic signs for SPAM. Particularly when this website has been seen recently on several other posts after being punted by several other "new" members.

Ravikurmac , I would also look at :
1)have a set of sql server installation scripts i.e you can recreate the sql server on any server
2)documentation supporting your DR process
