I did following per this article http://www.sqldbatips.com/showarticle.asp?ID=8

/* CREATE A NEW ROLE */
CREATE ROLE db_executor

/* GRANT EXECUTE TO THE ROLE */
GRANT EXECUTE TO db_executor

How do SSMS knows to create this role to execute all the stored procs?

i believe that is the default behaviour for EXECUTE
