I need to export a view to excel or csv file with the headers and place them in a specific path.

Intially i was using madhivanans post

but after an upgrade to sql server 2005 the procedure is not working?
Please help

If you were using procedure that uses xp_cmdshell, make sure its enabled. SQL 2005 has it disabled by default so you need to enable it after going to surface area configuration

thanks visakh16 for your response..but there are already sp's that use xp_cmdshell in the databse.
The excel file is created but with no data in it.
