1) Varies per candidate2) Not sure what you're asking, may be too close to info that can't be disclosed3) 2 or 3 hours I think4) 7005) Depends on you. Personally I didn't open a book for any of my SQL 2008 exams, but that's me. You may not be able to do the same.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |

For the objectives please see this page:http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-432#tab2I have not taken this exam, I did take the 431; which is for SQL Server 2005. But I understand that the exam format is the same for both. It is devided into 2 segments. The first is multiple choice, the second is sim based. These sections are scored seperately and your score is the lower of the two. So if you get a 1000 on one and a 700 on the other, your score is 700. Microsoft themselves do not identify the format as it "might change at any time." I don't believe that to be a disclosure of the NDA as it is obvious to anyone who looks as score report or uses a practice test system like SelfTest, Transcender, or MeasureUp. |

glad to be of help! There was a thread on Linked In about MCITP SQL Server 2008 exams which mentioned "Trainsignal" and "CBT Nuggets" as video tutorial sites and recommended "Measureup" for practice test examples. I'm trying to find some free practice tests - please leave a note if you know of any :)? |

If you use the MS Press book the measureup questions are included on the CD. To be honest I have seen some of the CBT Nuggets videos and find them very average for any one who has been using SQL Server for a little while. I believe TestOut for the 431 (MCTS for SQL Server 2005) is better than the CBT Nuggets for the 2008 exams. I wish there was a testout for the 2008 SQL Exam.Sadly I have never seen any quality free questions for any MS exam that weren't brain dumps... |
