Hi Guys, I'm thinking of taking the 70-432 exam for SQL Server 2008, i've passed the MCTS for 2005, but have now decided to take the 2008 route due to having the same amount of exams to take to complete the MCITP as there is to do the MCITP in 2005My question is really, anyone thats taken both is there massive difference between the exams apart from the obvious questions about new features-----------------------------------------------Learning something new on SQL Server everyday. |

I don't know if this helps, but the self paced MCTS SQL Server 2008 Training Kit is a hard copy textbook plus a CD with sample Exam Questions and Enterprise Editions 180 day Evaluation. Costs £29ish. Like a lot of MS stuff it contains errors, but seems to me like the quickest route to zoom through the new features.Alternatively Brian Knight's book gives clear explanations of the new features and the business reasons they were developed from the practical DBA point of view - but no exam prep!I've seen another book recommended by many gurus on LinkedIn DBA Forums for Training on SQL Server 2008 referred to as "SAMS", but I forget the name of the author. |
