I have Developer Edition. Some scalability problems, but my colleague has the same on his laptop and I could use it - no problem.I have a desktop PC running the service. When I try to log in from another PC, I can see my server name on the network list. I get an error, and can't login (Win Auth). When my colleagues browse, they can't even see the server.I gave them both the same domain as me, and their login names. I set up public, connect, select stuff.....Why can I can only use it locally, see it remotely, and they can't even see it?There must be a simple answer. I've managed SQL Servers, when already set up. My home server is fine...ThanksMike |

What is the error that you get, which version of Windows is on the desktop and is there a firewall? |
