Hi,

Is it possible to disable the option in SQL 2008 where once a user account is locked out because the incorrect password is entered, that the password needs to be changed upon unlocking the account ?

I *think* the only way to unlock an account without changing the password is for a sysadmin to do it.

It still prompts for a password change even if a sysadmin unlocks the account.

Hmmm, I could've sworn I've done it in the recent past. I could be wrong though, my memory is fading!
