In the "Connect to Database Engine" window of the SQL Management Studio there is a capability to "Remember password". My current configuration has gotten confused about what my password is and so keeps remembering the wrong one. Can someone tell me the key sequence to overwirite the password and remember a new one and/or what is the key sequence to simply delete the entry from the list of remembered items?

Many thanks...

Here's how I resolved the issue (though I really didn't fix anything). I entered a "new" entry for my login name using different capitalization along with the correct password. This looks like a new entry and becomes the default. Et voila...symptom fixed!

I think what I have done was switch to windows auth, save it, then switch back to sql auth, save it. But it's been a while since I've needed to use a SQL account and the password has changed.
