I have a complete install of SQL2008.But the Surface Area Configuration Tool is missing....any ideas how to enable it or make it appear?I tried reinstalling, but says all features are already installed.RegardsParesh MotiwalaBoston, USA |

Since 2008 look for SQL Server configuration manager. No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die. |

it is actually under facets...strangely the bol says to go start/programs/sql 2008...etc.RegardsParesh MotiwalaBoston, USA |

Right click on server name---> Click on facets ----> From drop down select "Sql Server Configuration", on the end list |
