HI all, need some help.I was given a copy of a database which would really help me in my job in the form of .bak file. after googling what to do I have downloaded MicrosoftSQL server 2008 r2 and have managed to restore the backup file, and it says it is connected & live.....what next!!!I saw this database working before and it opens in explorer/chrome, I have typed in the link to where the database has restored to, to the same point that the original database pointed to (c:/Users/Documents/WebProfile/htdocs/) did but i just get a page of text/sript listing various .asp files and folders. where on the original system I would see the database opening page.what am i missing? what am i doing wrong? I would be very grateful if someone could tell me. as you can see I know pretty much nothing about SQL databases.many thanks in advance!

.... as an addition, I have checked the database on the original system and the pages open as .html in the browser ...well these are .asp so that has thrown me even more!
