HiI have a server in a data center and when I register a new SQL server I can see other SQL servers on the local network, and I expect they can see mine.How can I stop this?SQL 2000, Svr 2003, Windows Firewall.ThanksRob |

I can't find a 'sql server browser' service in services, are you ure SQL 2000 has this? |

i think you can hide your instance...check the client tools for the option...will look for an mssql2000 server and check it out myself--------------------keeping it simple... |
