| I have both SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 databases on my server. I have Enterprise Manager installed for 2000 but do not have the Management Console for 2005. Can I install the management console and then move the 2000 database to 2005. I need to use some of the features of the 2005 version. |

| Yes, but note that you will not be able to move the databases back to 2000 afterwards. You should also do some serious testing to ensure that none of the changes in 2000-2005 break your app.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |
