Hi All,

I'm using SQL Server 2008 R2.. Am able to login to the server 'Serv1' by sql authentication. But when i was trying to login the Server 'serv1' through the server 'serv2' it throws an error as follows

Cannot connect to Serv1.

Additional Information
Timedout expired. The timeout period elapsed to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.(Microsoft SQL server)

Please advice on this issue..

Thanks

Try Serv1,PortNumber. Increase the login timeout if you've got network latency.
