Hi All,I have a question regarding shrepoint intranet website..I receive the error message “ Cannot connect to the configuration database.” where some users can see this message and others are working fine..We have two front end servers and two back end sql serversWhen I check the MSSQLSERVER, it works on one sql server but not the other, and when I tried to start it, it wont work..I would be grateful If you can advice me what to do to solve this issue.. |

this is a sharepoint configuration issue, not mssqlif you have located the problem is that the sharepoint connections going to the "dead" sql instance, then try to get it start workingto troubleshoot, look at the event logs...you'll get an error there why sql server service can't start--------------------keeping it simple... |
