| Hi All,We have SSAS 2000 installed on one server(Server A).We need to migrate it to SQL Server 2008 which is installed on another server(Server B).We have the SQL Serve rupgrade advisor installed on server B.When i try to analyse the SSAS installed on Server A,it specifies the following error,Cannot use DSO (Decision Support Objects) to connect to Analysis Services, DSO is either not installed or the installation is corrupted. Error details: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {B492C386-0195-11D2-89BA-00C04FB9898D} failed due to the following error: 80040154.How do i install DSO on server A? |

| Hi to all, I have the same problem, in my C# code I try to run new DSO.Server() and my error is the following: "Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {B492C386-0195-11D2-89BA-00C04FB9898D}" Before I added the reference in the tab COM --> DSO (Decision Support Objects) Please, I need HELP!!Thanks for advance.David. |
