Reinstall SQL Server.

Why don't you want the service pack? You should be using service pack 3 and one of the recent hotfixes. Your minimum build should 4262 for 2005. Using the RTM version is reckless, IMO.

You cannot uninstall a service pack in SQL Server 2005. You will have to uninstall it and then reinstall it.
