How can I change servivce account for sql engine and sql agent? I created them as default now we want to assign a network service account instead? Is the changing procedure exactly same in 2005 and 2008? Reboot needed?

If you open the SQL Server Configuration Manager, and under services select the service and on the properties page you can change the service account.
It will need a restart afterwards though.

And, you need to remove the SPN record that was created under the local account. If not, you will get SSPI errors when trying to connect using windows authentication.
