my home database sql server 2008 is version 10.00.1698
where as production version is 10.50.1600.

Is it possible to create a backup file compatible with previous version? how can i do this?
Thanks

Upgrade your home system to 2008 R2. You can certainly export everything into 2008 R1, however it won't be an exact copy.
