I undersatnd it Just 2 active passive clusters but being a newbie I was looking for some precise docs. BTW what are you experiences with Active Active does it do what it says on the tin? |

what do you understand by Active/Active Cluster in term of Microsoft.Active/Active Cluster in term of microsoft a node have multiple instances,There is no any type of active/active cluster which one have 2 active nodes point to the same instance at the same time,If you are planing for a single instance of SQL Server then there must be an active/passive cluster,If you are planning multiple instances then there might be Active/Active Cluster but there is no any type of load balancingRegards,Syed Jahanzaib Bin HassanMCTS,MCITP,OCA,OCP,OCE,SCJP,IBMCDBAMy Blogwww.aureus-salah.com |

Thnaks for the reply - Yes I understand that, it's just 2 active passive clusters with each node having enough resources to run all instances - it was just some good setup documentation i was looking for. |
