what is the different between SQL Mirroring & Replication?
I need specific points.

There's virtually no similarities between the two.

--MIRRORING
1.MIRRORING NEED MINIMUM 2 SERVER OR 2 INSTANCE IN WHICH ONE USED FOR PRINCIPAL SERVER AND ONE FOR MIRRORED SERVER. WE CAN USE 3RD SERVER OR 3RD INSTANCE FOR MONITOR MIRRORING WHICH IS KNOWN AS WITNESS SERVER.
2.WITNESS SERVER WORKS LIKE HART BEATS. IT WORK IS ONLY TO CHECK WHETHER PRINCIPAL DATABASE OR MIRRORED DATABASE IS ONLINE OR NOT.
3.IT IS TAKE RESPONSE TO AUTOMATIC SWITCH OVER IF PRINCIPAL SERVER FAILS.
4.TO CONFIGURE MIRRORING WE TAKE PRINCIPAL SERVER OR PRODUCTION SERVER DATABASES FULL AND TRANSACTIONAL BACKUP AND RESTORE ON SECONDARY SERVER OR SECOND INSTANCE WITH NO RECOVERY (NOTE:IMPORTANT TASK YES WITH NO RECOVERY) WE CALL IT MIRRORED SERVER
5.IN THIS PRINCIPAL LOG BUFFER FLUSHED TO MIRRORED SERVER.
--REPLICATION
1.REPLICATION CONFIGURATION NEED
a) PUBLISHER
b) DISTRIBUTOR
c) SUBSCRIBER
2.PUBLISHER IS ONE WHO CAN PUBLISH OR DEPLOY FULL DATABASE OR ONLY SELECTED TABLES OR LOGINS.......
3.DISTRIBUTOR IS CARRY PUBLISHER DATA AND PUSH TO SINGLE OR MULTIPLE SUBSCRIBER.
4.SUBSCRIBER SUBSCRIBE FOR DATA
THERE ARE 3 TYPES IN REPLICATION
a)TRANSACTION REPLICATION
b)SNAPSHOT REPLICATION
c)MERGE REPLICATION
EACH REPLICATION BEHAVES DIFFERENTLY.

You cant create any transaction to the Mirror Server but you can with Replication
