We are running SQL 2000. We want to move the Log File to a different partition since the current partition is full. Can you tell me how? I am unable to perform this function.

Thanks.

Probably the easiest on SQL Server 2000 is to detach the database, move the log file and attach the database.

Just make sure you take a backup (differential or tlog would suffice, assuming you already have good fulls) before doing it in case something goes wrong. I've never had a problem detaching and then immediately re-attaching, however things can happen. Good backups ensure you won't lose anything.
