Hi,Can anyone tell me if the WMI SQL Server Administration provider is supported on default msde installations (no client tools) - can't seem to find this sort of info anywhere...Thanks |

Just read a little about it.....but why not use the client tools?Is Window Management Interface rwally the right tool for the job?Never seen it...still NT 4.0....getting there though.Brett8-) |

Thanks for the response,My app supports MSDE, I can't guarantee client client tools will be installed so would like to include restricted sql adiministration functionality - could always use osql but was looking at alternatives. Anyone tried using WMI with MSDE? |
