Greetings,I have many ssis packages scheduled in sql sql jobs. our admin wants to runs these in one sql job. so I wrapped them all in one sql job but they seem to fire off together instead of sequentially though I have them as steps in a job. Am I missing something here? other than creating yet a new ssis package that runs each individual ssis packages how else can I do this? Thanks!<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>If you don't have the passion to help people, you have no passion |

Just make them steps of one job. If you wrap the jobs in one job, you won't get them sequential, because sp_start_job doesn't wait for the job to finish. That said, I would make sure there's a very good reason for combining these before doing it. |
