Hi everyone...We are currently running a system with SQL Server backend and IIS/ASP front. We are being pressured by our standards department to switch to J2EE and BEA Weblogic which is our company standard for web-based systems. We are allowed to keep SQL Server 2k as our backend. From what I've found out about this, I get the feeling this will complicate matters quite a bit for us. For example, we are using integrated security directly via the IIS, the users log in using their normal AD accounts. Is this as easy using J2EE/Weblogic?Do any of you guys have any experience on this subject? Thoughts?Feels so wasted to learn J2EE, I had hoped to go towards .NET, but I can't do anything about this, so I've decided to try to be open-minded.../Kalle |
