I have a car, but we don't drive it, as a matter of fact for saftey reasons, we took the engine out. But when we're asked to get you somewhere we say, no problem, we're very safe drivers. Then we hire 80 people and show up with a barge to take you where you want to go....does that sum it up correctly?Brett8-) |

More like:We're a security company, but we hire only one guard to keep costs down, and we make sure he unlocks all the doors to all the buildings we manage, so if there IS a problem, he can call the cops and they can get in without needing to unlock anything first. Sometimes he even props the doors open to make it that much easier. In fact, we don't even train him on any security techniques so that he won't get confused if a new method is developed; he won't have to learn that one either. This vanilla approach helps us deliver simple, cost-effective security. |

So someone else doesn't have to look it up...http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=24833 Actually, I was thinking "Access is like a microwave oven...don't stick your head it in for too long" but that's just plain silly. And I sure as hell didn't follow that advice... |

Ssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Dont jink's me. I am trying to get rid of the last of the .mdb databases. Unfortunatly its also the largest and has the most apps connected to it. It wouldent be so bad but proper naming conventions were not followed so in addition to converting to SQL I have rename most of the fields and rework all the apps.Dang thing finaly crashed bad enough yesterday to not be repairable.Thank god I created a hourly backup batch file.JimUsers <> Logic |

I hear that's a great database"Brett8-) |

One man shop = Administrator,Network deveoper,Web design,Technical support,Application design,Efficiancy/work flow expert, computer repair and installer.2. Oooo you can squeese in this little thing. ( EACH of 50 )3. I know you told me but I forgot. (2,000 th time)4. That rule dosent apply to me does it? (hole in firewall, virus spread across net, hacker setting up porn site on mail server)WHAT THE SYSTEM CRASHED AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!Sorry all just venting - before I go Postal.JimUsers <> LogicEdited by - jiml on 07/23/2003 10:34:13 |

Well, my friend do I have a database solution for you then. It's a completely service pack agnostic solution so it's designed to work with no administration overhead what so ever! Combined with our patented HIS* Security offerings your data is gauranteed to remain secure from illiterates and all primates that have yet to master a QWERTY keyboard!HIS = Head In Sand, patent pending. You can find out more about this paradigm changing data management solution by visiting our website. (URL left out intentionally to provide HTTP independence across all platforms)."Look at it out there orbiting like it's so cool, we will rule it with an army of replicants!" |
