I'll see what I can do. I doubt I'll get to it until the weekend though.

I'd really dig a username change as well. I selected a poor username in haste and absent-mindedness. My name is Jay, so anything normal with Jay in it will suffice. If not, no biggy.

Can mine be changed to
IfYouWantSomeoneToBeNiceToYouThenIgnoreThis

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

LOL, Amethystium....
I understand you pretty well but I think you are ... wrong here.
You'll understand this in ... say ... 15 years. LOL ... never mind!

Stoad my dear friend hope you are well these days.

One thing I will not be in 15 years time is some brainwashed associate working for all this corporate bull$hit. If my fellow developers want to sell their soul then so be it.. it's their loss and not mine.

Whether I am right or wrong is of no relevance to the way my Cursor friend was intimated and at time, even bullied.
There are many ways of telling people that their methodology is wrong but to sum it all up in one insulting term is pure arrogance.

Anyway, nice to know that you're still around... and your post count.. my God! you have been one busy chap eh?

Take care Staod

Amethystium,

After thinking about this a little more I'd prefer not to change your username. This is something I've avoided in the past. If I agree to change yours then others will want to change their username also -- and I don't want to be doing this on a regular basis. As the interface doesn't have an easy way to do it, I've got to open up QA or EM and do it that way. If you'd prefer to use a different name, please register with that name and start using it. My apologies for saying I would do it and then changing my mind. I didn't spend enough time thinking about it before I said yes.
