| One of those crafty but simple logic puzzles: Alf, Ben, Chris, Dan and Ed are playing cops and robbers. Robbers are cads and always tell lies. Cops are trustworthy and ALWAYS tell the truth (okay, so suspend disbelief for the purposes of the exercise….). Alf says that Ben is a cop. Chris says that Dan is a robber. Ed says that Alf is not a robber. Ben says that Chris is not a cop. Dan says that Ed and Alf are playing on different sides. Based on these facts and statements, how many robbers are there? Duane. |
