I tried to install SQL Server 2005 Evaluation Edition (64-bit) in Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit x64 Edition. Everything is ok except Report service. Here are my installation steps:1. Installed SQL Server20052. Installed SQL Server 2005 SP23. Installed all required IIS componments as the following instruction.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/9341644. Ran setup.exe again, tried to install Report Service. But it still said IIS doesn't installed or disable ... The Report Service option can't be selected. And I noticed the linke in step3 above doesn't mention the version vista home premium. But the following help say 'YES', just requires SQL Server 2005 SP2 after installation.http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-ca/library/ms143506(SQL.90).aspxAny help is appreciated! |
