Can anyone help or point me to a location where I can get some help re installing an ACT database. I have re installed ACT on a new server, created a new database from a .zip backup which can be now only be correctly accessed from the server and I need to share this around a small office network. From other network stations the ne ACT.pad file presents an error message as follows " database could not be accessed. In order to access database, check connection and verify database available. It may be necessary to dissable firewall software on yourr computer or server" this we have done, and the connections are fine but the error message continues to appear

Is this a SQL problem, or can anyone help please

Thank

Disable the firewall on the server. Then recheck every step in the act setup process. I had a similar issue. Also make sure each user has access to the database and files from thier workstation.
